At Mercure Sapporo, we will be hosting a series of initiatives in celebration of Earth Day on April 22, inviting guests to experience sustainability in a simple and meaningful way.
Through your stay and dining experience, we hope to offer a moment to reflect on “what we can do today for the planet.”

Candle Night (April 22 only)
Location: Lounge Bar Le Cepage

From 16:00 to 20:00 on April 22, the lounge lighting will be gently dimmed and replaced with the soft glow of candles.
Enjoy a calm and relaxing atmosphere, slightly different from the usual setting, and spend a peaceful moment with us.

Carbon Neutral & Organic Certified Wines (April 19–25)
Location: Restaurant Bordeaux Lunch Buffet / Lounge Bar Le Cepage

We will be offering a selection of carbon-neutral certified and vegan-friendly wines:

• Cullen Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot
  Glass (Red): ¥700
• DB Aromatic Gewürztraminer / Riesling
  Glass (White): ¥500

Guests who order these wines will receive a complimentary piece of fair-trade chocolate.

Fair-Trade Tea and Jam (April 22 only)
Location: Restaurant Bordeaux Breakfast & Lunch Buffet

We offer tea and jam sourced through sustainable methods and fair-trade practices.
By building strong partnerships with producers around the world, we aim to support local communities while protecting the natural environment.

Eco-Friendly Stay Initiative
For staying guests

For guests staying multiple nights, we invite you to participate in our eco-cleaning program.
By choosing a simplified service (no linen or amenity replacement, with trash collection only), you will receive a complimentary bottle of water or tea.
