  • We use environmentally-friendly detergents for room cleaning.
  • Water flow within the facility is set at 8 liters per minute.
  • Water quality for both tap and well water is regularly tested by third-party agencies in compliance with legal standards.
  • Tap water is safe for drinking.
  • Showerheads and faucet taps are equipped with water-saving features.
  • Through a system developed with Schneider Electric, water usage is measured and recorded to support conservation efforts.

Energy

  • To reduce carbon dioxide emissions, we have switched to LED lighting throughout the hotel.
  • Our air conditioning is managed by an HVAC control system.
  • A system created with Schneider Electric tracks and records the usage of electricity, gas, and waste, with efforts to minimize and reduce consumption.
  • Information regarding sheet and towel replacement is available in guest rooms.
  • Paper towels, tissue paper, and toilet paper are all environmentally-friendly products.

Plastic Reduction

  • Used coffee capsule cases and cellophane from guest rooms are collected and recycled.
  • For environmental reasons, we do not provide single-use plastics in guest rooms.
  • Takeaway coffee cups and lids, straws, takeout containers, and utensils in the restaurant are all made from paper or wood.

Eat

 

Waste Management

  • Waste is meticulously sorted in compliance with legal regulations.
  • Food waste is collected by the Sapporo Environmental Public Corporation and used as fertilizer for poultry farming.
  • Used oil is processed by partner companies and recycled as a resource.
  • Through a system developed with Schneider Electric, general waste (compressed), industrial waste, and food waste are measured and recorded to support food waste control and reduction efforts.

Sustainable Food

  • Our restaurant offers vegan and vegetarian menu options.
  • We do not serve any food derived from endangered or protected species.
